PRODUCTION
• To maximize the six (6) hectares farm lot’s potential in growing plants, fruits and vegetables,
suited to season, environment and according to market demand
• To undertake overall management of farm to table concept and direct all farm activities to
ensure all edible produce are harvested and supplied to clients on time without any issue
• To ensure that all produce is of excellent quality and within the cost as agreed with
management
• To maintain the greenhouses, auxiliary areas (engineering area, processing area, warehouse
etc.) and the whole farm area in excellent condition of cleanliness and orderliness.
• To do systematic planning, from planning of implements and seeds to nursery to greenhouse to
achieve production target
• To ensure that farm generates income and without unnecessary wastages / unnecessary added
cost
• To oversee day to day farm activities in key areas where vegetables, fruits, ornamentals and
herbs are planted.
• To manage a team of farm workers, and agriculturist/s, maximizing worker efficiency and output
• To do timely and correct recording of data - what seeds are the best per type of crop that are
suitable to our area, which seeds give us the best output etc.
• To do proper coordinating with purchasing - what is needed to buy ahead of time so that the
production flow is not interrupted and to ensure continuous supply of produce
RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT
• To do various research applicable to any varieties of different crops where FARM MANAGER is w
to monitor growth stages, pests and diseases, and its yield if it can be commercialized.
• To develop cost efficient ways of pesticide consumption and fertilizer application.
• To provide accurate and complete data for each trial.
• To provide the cost of each product and work closely with accounting and management
TECHNICAL SUPPORT MANAGEMENT
Identifies and finds immediate solutions to problems in need of technical application or expertise.
• To provide technical support and assistance in management practices like pest and disease
control, fertilizer program etc.
• Implement land rehabilitation and development converting idle lands to sustainable productive
area.
• Organize presentations, technical visits and demonstrations for guests and clients interested in
the farm.
FARM ENGINEERING MANAGEMENT
• Manage the engineering team who covers, chiller, deep well, fertigation, fogger, solar panel,
greenhouse, equipment (tractor, vehicles) and other mechanical/electrical/plumbing operations
including maintenance and upgrade to ensure that there is no breakdown that may affect the
smooth running of the production.
• Suggest other technical improvements to enhance the farm’s efficiency and productivity
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
• Application of strategic ideas, initiatives, decisions and activities to achieve business growth.
• Maximize technical aspect and knowledge
• Setting up and increasing target profit per month.
• Suggest other possible related income revenue for management approval – at least 2 – 3 per
year.
QUALITY ASSURANCE
• Setting and overseeing consistent implementation of standard quality inspection procedures to
ensure that the products are delivered to the customer in accordance with established product
quality standards and with the correct quantities ordered
• Determining and implementing corrective actions to identify root causes of customer product
complaints
OTHER ACTIVITIES
• Preparation for GAP Accreditation for new and existing clients
• Preparation of Daily, Weekly and Monthly Monitoring and Production Reports, Individual
worker’s daily targets, team targets, GH targets and goals
• Prepare and determine protocols for each type of activity (per plant, per project) to achieve
desired target within the given time frame
• ANY and other tasks or projects that may be assigned to him from time to time
? Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree Major in Animal Science
? At least 3 years of work experience in Swine Production
? Willing to undergo training on Farm Management
? Must be Self-motivated, honest, reliable and can work with the team
