ACCOUNTING SUPERVISOR (Must be CPA) for INT'L FINANCE INDUSTRY/Salary: 40,000/ANGONO ST., MAKATI
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Assisting staff members in the preparation of monthly and quarterly accounting reports.
- Analyzing financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with generally accepted accounting practices.
- Identifying potential cash flow problems and financial irregularities.
- Liaising with department heads to ensure that each department remains within budget.
- Accurately preparing tax returns and ensuring that company taxes are paid in a timely manner.
- Performing reconciliations of general ledger accounts.
- Supervising and providing overall guidance to account clerks as well as junior accounting staff.
- Providing regular updates to management regarding company finances.
- Ensuring that the company maintains compliance with accounting legislation.
JOB QUALIFICATION
Candidate must possess Bachelors Degree in Accountancy, CPA
preferred is required
? At least 5 years Accounting experience is required and at least 1-2
years in a supervisory capacity
? Expertise in General Accounting, Cost Accounting, Fixed Asset
Accounting, Accounts Payable, Bank Recon and closing of books
complete with relevant schedules and analyses
? Proficiency in Accounting Standards and Principles
? Knowledgeable in Philippine Taxation
? Excellent analytical skills and is able to prepare review notes that will
accompany the financial package submitted to management every
month
? Detail oriented and demonstrates critical thinking skills
? Excellent written and oral communication skills
? Excellent coordination skills and is able to liaise with auditors and
other governmental agencies
? Must have good people management skills with the ability to lead,
coach and supervise people
? Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Accounting Software (with
exposure to Netsuite/Oracle highly preferred)
