SAFETY OFFICER a.k.a COMPLIANCE OFFICER (With BOSH) for GARMENT MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY/MADUYA CARMONA, CAVITE
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Monitor and ensure adequate Environmental Health and Safety records are maintained
- Help identify HSE training needs throughout the site and develop/implement the necessary training and retraining programs to ensure compliance with Corporate Standards and Local Legislation
- Oversees the facility safety and environmental programs
- Verifies facility is complaint with all required safety and environmental regulations
- Performs routine safety and environmental compliance audits
- Stays abreast of changing safety and environmental regulations and their potential impact on the facility
- Participate on national and corporate teams as needed to assist in the development and implementation of safety policies and procedures as required by the SBU or local legislation
- Coordinate with management and supervisors to ensure compliance with OHSAS 18001 Occupational Health and Safety Assessments Series
- Coordinate with management and supervisors to ensure compliance with ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems
JOB QUALIFICATION
Graduate of any four (4) year Management course
• With minimum three (3) years’ experience in manufacturing company
• With 2 years social auditing experience
• With BOSH Training / Experience as Safety Officer is an advantage
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English and Tagalog)
• Meticulous attention to detail with ability to multi-task
• Excellent documentation & reporting skills
• Above average analytical skills
Salary Range: Negotiable
Work Location: Carmona Cavite
