Quality assurance (QA) tester plays a role in delivering high-quality, perfectly-functioning software and web
applications to customers. They test and evaluate new and existing programs to identify and help remove bugs,
glitches, and other user-experience issues. Ultimately, ensure that products, applications, and systems work
correctly.
• Designs and implements Test Plans, scenarios, scripts, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for
QA/QC Testing.
• Collaborates with software developers and project supports to determine project scope and requirements.
• Works with the development team to debug code, correct errors, and troubleshoot any issues with
software code.
• Executes tests on source code.
• Analyzes test results and reports to the Development Team.
• Conducts UI/UX testing. Provides UI/UX technical support to stakeholders as needed.
• Undertakes other duties appropriate for his/her competence and development, as required by immediate
superior from time to time.
Background in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• With 0-2 years of experience in QA testing.
• A good working knowledge of test management software, programming languages, and QA methodologies
is a plus.
• Critical thinker and detail-oriented.
• Self-driven, proactive, and able to work proficiently both independently and in a team environment.
• Good professional ethics.
