JOB DESCRIPTION

The Finance & Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the financial records, ensuring the accounts and reports are finalized within a set deadline and according to the Company’s accounting regulations, implementing financial systems, and preparing documents for external auditors.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the whole accounting operations from receipts to disbursements and payroll
  • Developing a company’s financial and accounting policies, workflows, and methods
  • Developing, managing, and mentoring the finance team
  • Auditing accounts to ensure they comply with the company’s policy regulations and other regulatory requirements
  • Preparing all weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual accounting and financial reports and other documents needed by the management and the company’s external auditors
  • Evaluating the company’s financial transactions to ensure strict compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Prepares/Reviews all tax returns and supervises the timely and accurate payment
  • Reviewing financial statements to pinpoint possible fraud and errors
  •  Assist in/supervise the preparation of journals, and account reconciliations especially bank and inventory reconciliations

JOB QUALIFICATION

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent
  • Certified Public Account (CPA) with at least 5 years of experience specializing in Finance - General/Cost Accounting, or experience as an Accounting Manager, Accounting Supervisor or Finance Manager or any relevant capacity
  • Proficient in written and spoken English
  • Adept with computers, and mobile devices and proficient in using productivity tools and email
  • MUST know how to use Quickbooks Online and other accounting software and ERPs
  • Advanced Excel (e.g. Pivot Tables, vLookups, etc.) and Google Sheet skills in building complex financial models and experience with using planning systems
  • Previous background in the importation, distribution, retail, or manufacturing industry is a plus
  • Highly organized with great attention to detail
  • Very good presentation skills
