ASSISTANT PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR for OPTICAL LENS INDUSTRY/Salary: 16,000 - 20,000/MINDANAO AVE., QUEZON CITY
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Reach with hands and arms; climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, and hear;
- Frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds;
- Use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls;
- Frequently be required to walk the production floor and occasionally stand for a long period of time;
- Adjusts folding machine and packs envelopes uniformly and neatly, also keeping up with the machine speed;
- Monitors and tracks quality;
- Analyze and resolve work problems;
- Examines work order to determine specifications and sample verification;
- Completes paperwork at end of tasks;
- Champions safety for shift;
- Inspects product quality according to quality guidelines;
- Monitors shift productions to productivity metrics;
- Observe all safety rules and regulations;
- Maintains accurate counts of envelopes to boxes, cartons, and skids;
- Schedules manning based on production needs
JOB QUALIFICATION
- College degree in Engineering
- Writes clearly and informatively, uses all methods of communication for appropriate interaction with all people throughout the organization;
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals;
- Demonstrates a commitment to continuous improvement, including personal and business development for self and others;
- Ability to use Wyatt and Microsoft computer applications, at an intermediate level;
- History of good attendance, dependability, and reliability;
- Motivates and influences others toward a positive team environment;
