JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Responsibilities:

  • Implement local HR policies and procedures, HR plans, programs and initiatives.
  • Responsible for organization and preparation of presentation deck for associates’ communication sessions and celebrative events.
  • Compile and update employee records (hard and soft copies)
  • Coordinate HR projects (meetings, training, surveys etc.) and take minutes
  • Process documentation and prepare reports (internal memos, appointment letter, incident reports, promotion, adjustment, resignation and termination etc.), Job evaluation.
  • Deal with employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulations
  • Properly handle complaints and grievance procedures
  • In-charge in recruitment, staffing and conducts initial interview.
  • Handles pre-employment requirements of all newly hired employees.
  • Provide orientations for new employees by explaining company policies
  • Work closely with Officers on Performance review cycles
  • Review and evaluation the notices of explanation and replies of erring employee.
  • Coordinates with Top management for proper sanctions to be imposed to the erring employee.
  • Reviews and submits Cash Advance, Emergency and Bereavement leave attachment to payroll.
  • Monitors attendance of employees, prepare disciplinary action memos for habitual tardiness and absences.
  • Ensures confidentiality of all HR documents
  • Any other duties/tasks/project assignments as required and/or directed.

JOB QUALIFICATION

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an HR Assistant, Staff Assistantor relevant human resources/administrative position
  • Good knowledge of Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) regulations.
  • Fast computer typing skills (MS Office, in particular)
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong communications skills
  • Degree in Human Resources or related field
  • Multi-tasking, able to work independently and work within deadlines under minimum supervision.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/Degree in Psychology/ Business Studies/Administration/Management, Finance/Accountancy/Banking, Human Resource Management, Psychology or equivalent.
  • Required Skill(s): excellent communication skills, good interpersonal and decision making skills
  • 1-4 Years Experienced

The story begins in 1979, when Tecson Alonzo was convinced by a foreign associate, Mr. Richard Chan, to distribute SAF Instant Yeast in the Philippines. The conditions then in the Philippine baking industry looked formidable for any new entrant. A single company monopolized the market, supplying dry yeast. And further, “instant” yeast was never heard of and seemed unnecessary. Nevertheless, Mr. Alonzo seized the challenge to penetrate the market with the first instant baking yeast in the country. In 1981, Sonlie International, Incorporated was born. As expected, Filipino bakers did not willingly accept this rock-hard, more expensive yeast from France. Most were satisfied with their old technique and were reluctant to switch from dry to instant yeast. But after educating the people and making them aware of the potentials of the product, the market began to embrace this new technology. After years of working hand in hand within the baking industry, Mr. Alonzo saw the many demands of the market. Soon, the company began importing from Europe other complementary products such as bread improvers, cocoa powders, non-stick flexible moulds and trays, flavourings, mixes and concentrates. In an attempt to improve the baking industry of the Philippines, Mr. Alonzo decided to put up a Baking Center in 1991. Since then, the Sonlie International Baking Center has been introducing new procedures and techniquesof a modern,world-class bakery. Tha Baking Center and company technicians also offer seminar courses and the best possible service to its clients. Today, after more than two decades in the baking and confectionary business, Sonlie International is considered the largest supplier of instant baking yeast in the Philippine market and carries only top quality baking ingredients. Sonlie International continues its commitment to provide quality and modern technology in the Philippine baking industry.
