JOB DESCRIPTION

JOB TITLE : Associate Development Manager
DEPARTMENT : Technical Services


TECHNICAL PROJECT DEVELOPMENT PLANNING, ANALYSIS AND STRATEGY


• Work closely with the project team to come up with a development plan, provide technical recommendation and
effectively implement them to fulfill project objectives and requirements efficiently
• Work collaboratively with program managers to oversee the team’s output and ensure prompt delivery
• Represent the Development Team in meetings and communicate properly with internal and external project
stakeholders. May be asked to meet with clients, together with the Product Owner for technical discussions.


TEAM MANAGEMENT
• Enforce and improve development processes, tools, methodologies, coding practices and standards
• Works with our IT Services team to ensure proper infrastructure and server config are set.
• Lead efforts to innovate and establish the roadmap of the Technical Solutions and Development Team
• Assess team capability, manage tickets assigned to the team, and delegate based on capacity, strengths, and growth.


PROJECT EXECUTION, MONITORING AND REPORTING
• Check the output of the team and give feedback when needed.
• Manages GIT Repo and merges changes to UAT/Live after inconsistencies and code conflicts have been resolved.
• Review and contribute to technical documentation such as development plan, functional specifications, server
architecture, deployment document, etc.
• Provides critical fixes for emergency (Critical) service tickets.


FULL STACK WEB DEVELOPMENT
• Create, update, maintain and optimize applications or solutions (front-end, back-end and API) to meet client
requirements and specifications
o Front-end Development (mastery, speed, complexity)
o Back-end, API Development (mastery, speed, complexity)
• Write well-organized, efficient and testable code that consistently guarantees and considers performance, scalability,
security and cross-platform responsiveness
o Quality of Output (minimal issues and bugs)
• Test, troubleshoot, recommend alternative solutions to technical issues
o Testing and Troubleshooting
• Continually update and improve technical knowledge and skills of the team and keep up with the latest technologies for
development
o Learning, researching, adapting
• Extend (technical) help and support to other developers and project team members when needed
o Reliability and Initiative
