JOB DESCRIPTION

Education Required At least a Graduate of Bachelor of Science in either Construction Management,

Architecture, Civil or Structural or M&E Engineering.

Required
Skills/Experience

Has been directly involved from the start until completion of the design, construction
and handover of at least one (1) high-rise buildings (at least 30 stories high or at least
40,000 square meters of built area) as Construction engineer, Cost/ Procurement
Engineer, QS.
Must be proficient in the use of Computer, MS Office and Project Scheduling software.

At least five (5) years of continuous experience in the Project and Construction
Management activities for Engineering, Architectural and Interiors, Site Development
and Landscaping for Building Design and Construction

Other requirements Good command in English language and communication skills.

Must be able to work for extended hours of the night and even during Saturdays and
Sundays as required by the Project.

 

Job Description 1. Prepare Consultants and Contractors contract documents in close coordination
with Project Quantity Surveying Consultants and other third- party consultants.
2. Ensure the efficient and effective management of the Project Quantity Surveying
Consultants and other third-party consultants to ensure the highest level of
performance.
3. Prepare the Project Management and Execution Plan.
4. Monitor and ensure that the PCMG proper implementation of a Project
Management Control System for the efficient management of the Project,
Documents and Data including all the necessary temporary facilities, hardware
and software required at the project site offices.
5. Ensure that the Project Management/Construction Management Team conducts
Design Reviews in line with Value Engineering and Cost reduction measures.
6. Check the Project/Work Schedule generated for the project for correctness,
accuracy, and logic.
7. Prepare Bills of Quantities, Cost Estimation, Bid/Tender Documents, Evaluation
Reports, Contracts, Purchase Orders, Cash Flow Projections, Cost Reports and
Detailed Accounts for the Project. And/or, review the Quantity Surveyors’ work in
the preparation of Bid/Tender Documents, Contracts, Bills of Quantities, Cost

Estimation, Cash Flow Projections, Cost Reports and Detailed Accounts for the
Project.
8. Attend/conduct pre-bid, clarificatory, reconciliation and negotiation meetings with
Design consultants, Contractors and suppliers to ensure proper understanding of
bid documents, bid submission and schedule.
9. Evaluate all claims for payment from consultants, contractors and suppliers; and
prepare its interim payment certificates and recommendation for payment, and/or
in close coordination with the Quantity Surveyor in the evaluation, checking and
signing of the interim payment certificates; and monitor and ensure the timely
processing of all claims for payment.
10. Evaluate all additive-deduction claims, or in close coordination with the Quantity
Surveyor, evaluates and submits recommendations and reports on Change
Orders and Variation Claims.
11. Review and comment on the Monthly Progress Reports prepared by the
Consultants, Contractors and the members of Project Management/Construction
Management Team.
12. Prepare PCMG’s Monthly Progress Report of the Project (collective reports from
the Project Team with Executive Summary) for submission to the President &
CEO, and VP, Project and Construction Management.
13. Must be familiar with all Contract Documents, Mail/ Correspondence Types and
project and construction management forms which may include but may not be
limited to
