JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsible for the proper operation and maintenance of all hotel equipment and engineering facilities.

 

 
I. General knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and other trades
 
 
-Oversee the preventive maintenance of all hotel equipment
-Maintain daily logbooks of equipment breakdowns and take corrective actions accordingly
-Coordinate with outside agencies and contractors for the repair and maintenance work
-At regular intervals inspect the working condition of the hotel equipment and engineering system and ensure that all standards are maintained
-Ensure correct maintenance of all equipment in conjunction with the other user Department
 
 
II. Good knowledge of fire & life safety processes and procedures.
 
 
-To obtain a thorough knowledge of firefighting appliances
-Stay abreast with the technological advances in surveillance and safety of equipment.
 
 
III. Represent the Engineering Department in Mancom Meetings and other agencies for regular reporting.
 
 
-Regularly reports to management activities of Engineering during weekly Mancom
-Represent the company in preparing reports to goverment agencies such as DENR.

JOB QUALIFICATION

Aspiring candidates must have the following Qualifications

1. Graduate of any of the following or equivalent courses:
 
 
- BACHELOR DEGREE in ENGINEERING or any related course.
 
 
2. At least 2years of relevant working experience in the Hotel Industry.
 
 
3. Licensed Engineer with PRC License
 
 
4. Certification with the following is a plus:
- BOSH-SO1 (Safety Officer 1)
- PCO (Pollution Control Officer)
