In 1996, the board of BECC decided to venture into other businesses. They then applied to make the cooperative a multi-purpose one. Thus, the name of the cooperative was changed to Bayer Employees Multi-Purpose Cooperative (BEMPC). It initially had the trucking business and selling of over the counter Bayer products. One of the greatest achievement of this cooperative is being named as one of the Best Cooperatives in Laguna , Institutional Category, to date the following are the services that the cooperative offer:
