JOB DESCRIPTION

A production manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of the manufacturing or production process in a company. The job description of a production manager may include the following:

  • Planning and scheduling: The production manager is responsible for creating production schedules, determining the resources required, and ensuring that production is completed on time and within budget.
  • Quality control: The production manager must ensure that all products meet the company's quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Budgeting and cost control: The production manager is responsible for managing the budget for production and finding ways to reduce costs without compromising quality.
  • Managing production staff: The production manager is responsible for hiring, training, and supervising production workers. They may also be responsible for scheduling shifts, assigning work, and conducting performance evaluations.
  • Maintaining equipment: The production manager must ensure that all production equipment is maintained and repaired as needed to prevent downtime and ensure the safety of workers.
  • Monitoring production performance: The production manager must track key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify areas for improvement in the production process.
  • Managing inventory: The production manager is responsible for managing the inventory of raw materials and finished products, ensuring that there is enough inventory to meet demand without overstocking.

JOB QUALIFICATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in communication, multimedia design, advertising, marketing or relevant field. 
  • A minimum of 2 years experience in in similar role with exposure to online content/above the line TVC production and live streaming.
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Able to think and plan ahead. 
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. 
  • Proven project management and coordination skills
