JOB DESCRIPTION
- Preparing business activity reports, financial statements, and forecasts.
- Ensuring financial legal requirements are met.
- Developing financial reporting systems.
- Finding ways to reduce or maintain costs by studying financial reports and business processes.
- Analyzing market trends to discover business opportunities and maximize profits.
- Aiding management in financial decisions.
- Maintaining up-to-date financial system knowledge.
JOB QUALIFICATION
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- Experence in accounting firm or in-house fnance role, with operational finance experience strongly preferred
- Prior experience managing finances for mutiple departments or brands
- Accountability and adoption ofa ‘busness-owner’ work mentality
- Excelent communication skills and the abilty to engage wthdiverse people
- Meticulous attention to detail and a proven track record of good financial ‘housekeeping’
- Initiative to problem solve quickly and with minimal disruption
- Flexblity and the abilty to multitask in a demanding, fastpaced environment
- Highly process-and solutions-oriented personality Interest or experience in startup companies, and/or entrepreneurship
- Savvy in technology,and a keen interest in how technology can transform finance
- Professional qualification such as CPA or smlar will be considereda plus
- Abiity to multi-task, priortize, and manage time effectively
- Abiity to build rapport and colaborate with others within the company and externally
