With the recent acquisition of a boutique advisory firm in Singapore, its transaction advisory services unit is looking for highly motivated, experienced managers and senior managers to be part of the dynamic growing team and be groomed to be associate directors or directors. 

 

HOW WE DO IT 

Our TAS service pillars include business advisory, M&A deal advisory, financial and business due diligence, financial and business planning via strategic review, valuation for corporate transactions and financial reporting, fundraising, and operations process improvement in-depth analytics.

Due to the nature of our work, this role would suit managers with strong attributes of a problem-solver mindset and those wanting to help businesses improve. He or she must have worked in similar fields or have relevant work experience in at least 2 areas. A highly motivated individual who is a meticulous, resourceful, independent, great team player and able to assist the partner to lead the team seamlessly in overall clients’ service delivery. 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

 Your primary role will include: 

  • Lead the team in service delivery, alongside the transaction advisory services partner 
  • Review of teasers and information memorandums for clients on sell mandates 
  • Prepare and/or review PPA (purchase price allocation) reports for clients’ M&A transactions 
  • Project manage the financial and tax due diligence exercises for clients’ buy mandates and these may include the full coverage from the sales, payroll, costs of sales, and operating costs analysis, among others 
  • Support and prepare valuation projects and draft reports for various purposes 
  • Financial modeling for business planning and/or strategic purposes with clients’ inputs 
  • Review research work and summarize into digestible read or in PowerPoint format, including the final listing of clients’ comparable companies and transactions information
  • Render assistance to the firm’s other retainer clients’ monthly, period, and/or ad-hoc basis to finalize specific reports preparation and submissions in excel or PowerPoint formats as instructed 
  • Any other work assignments as allocated from time to time 

 Your secondary role will include: 

  • Manage projects milestone, and ensure everything in the team done on time 
  • Assist and work with partners in building and maintaining client relationships, in team motivation, practice development, and business development activities 
  • Any task assigned by the partner and management

JOB QUALIFICATION

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance is required
  • ACCA, CA, and CVA certification is encouraged
  • Licensed CPA is required
  • 5 years of experience in a related role, and experience from Big 4 and mid-tier accounting firms is great
  • Excellent in the use of MS Office, and Capital IQ Pro and have a basic understanding of financial and/or accounting management software 
  • Strong with leadership and problem-solving skill Flexible, able to work under pressure and complete work within the deadline
