JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a skilled Bookkeeper/Accounting Assistant to handle all of the day-to-day financial operations for our business. If you have what it takes, please reach out to us!
The successful candidate’s tasks include, but are not limited to, working directly with the Operations Manager in preparing and reviewing financial reports, ensuring compliance with all legal obligations,processing accounts payable and receivable, and providing support to the management.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide clerical and accounting support
- Accurately record financial transactions, prepare, and maintain accounting documents and records
- Create and record data for payables and receivables
- Input monthly transactions into the BIR book of accounts and accounting software
- Reconcile accounts promptly
- Compile, evaluate, and summarize account and trend information to create financial reports.
JOB QUALIFICATION
SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles
- Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records
- Hands-on experience with spreadsheets
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- MS Office proficiency
- Proven organizational and time management abilities
- Decent written and oral communications skills
- Good interpersonal skills and;
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Has a strong work ethic and can adapt to different work environments
QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least 1-year work experience as a Bookkeeper, or equivalent
- Degree in Accounting or Accounting Technology;
- Willing to work onsite, Monday to Friday, and on Saturdays
- Can start immediately.
