Brief Job Description:

The Junior Site Engineer of Victor Consunji Development Corporation is in charge of the following: Review plans and blueprints prepared by other team members before submitting them to the supervising engineer for final approval. To oversee the progress of project parts includes visiting the site to measure or resolve contractor delays on behalf of the senior civil engineer. Also, they act as a liaison between the engineering team and construction workers. They also work closely with the project in charge to develop schedules and deliverable timelines.

Detailed Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Supervision of day-to-day operations of the site work. Responsible for daily site work

2. Conducting regular job site inspections; Actively monitoring the work environment for hazards.

3. Assist in the quality and safety audit; Identify and highlight possible risks on the project; Assist in the necessary documentation.

4. Accurately inventorying the job site and ensuring that the supplies are properly maintained.

5. Ensure that the main contractor’s EHS plan is being implemented and report all non-conformance to the safety pro

6. Monitor, evaluate, and ensure that all work is being carried out safely.

7. Implement technical and safety requirements for the project

8. Ensure construction QA/QC processes are being implemented by the contractor & sub-contractors

9. Report any non-conforming work; Identify and report technical queries to field engineering.

10. Attend and review all benchmarking meetings

11. Monitoring of site and material

12. Assisting in implementing a site plan

13. Performs related duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

? Graduate in BS Civil Engineering or any equivalent

? With two years of related work experience.

? Computer literate (MS Windows Applications); With above average intellectual ability; Can communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing; With good interpersonal relation skills.

? Trustworthy, loyal, dependable, meticulous, and systematic in approach; with extreme patience, persistence, and flexibility in the course of work implementation and the achievement of goals; has a high level of energy and motivation; must be decisive, assertive, and effective in problem-solving; with good moral character and professional integrity.

? Keen to detail: Analyze and review engineering data to ensure compliance with original plans and design.

? Analytic and logical to details and decision making: Determining all aspects in reviewing plans and synthesizing all ideas and factors from the instruction of project manager or site engineers.
