JOB DESCRIPTION:

  1. STRATEGIC ABILITY - Articulate and paint credible picture and vision of possibilities and likelihoods to create competitive and breakthrough mid to long term strategic plans for the assigned categories. Sees ahead clearly and can anticipate future consequences and trends accurately. Has broad knowledge and perspective of the business and is future oriented.
  2. BUSINESS ACUMEN - Define root cause factors from data, experience and judgement and converting that knowledge into timely and actionable decisions. Develop OGSM, Portfolio Strategy, annual business plans, re-estimate/contingency plans and translate these into market execution
  3. CONSUMER INSIGHTING - Identify knowledge gaps, plan and execute strategic & tactical research, interpret market research results and enrich our understanding of consumer/shopper motivations and behaviors in order to develop marketing plans that build brand and commercial equity.
  4. BRAND/PRODUCT POSITIONING - Evaluate market segments, current/prospective gaps and opportunities in order to develop and recommend positioning strategies.
  5. COMMUNICATIONS PLANNING EXECUTION - Work with partners (both internal & external) to develop an integrated multi-channel communications (ATL, BTL, PR, in store) that connects brand positioning, communication strategy and creative execution to targeted consumers. This involves development of communication materials and annual media strategy/plans.
  6. PROMOTIONS - Conceptualize, implement & evaluate consumer promotions (in store or out of store) that are aligned with brand strategy
  7. FINANCIAL PLANNING - Plan, monitor and analyze brand financial requirements and budgets in order to grow the business and enhance long term viability. Drives for continuous optimized utilization of resources, to drive sales, consumption and sales.
  8. FORECASTING - Undertake accurate short and long term demand forecasting to provide the organization with useful inputs for supply planning
  9. PRICING - Develop and implement pricing strategies and programs for the brans assigned, based on knowledge of competitive price positioning and trade's retail pricing practices.
  10. NEW PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT - Generate new product ideas that build brand value and manage the new product development process from ideation to commercialization to build the company's product portfolio and competitiveness.
  11. PROJECT MANAGEMENT - Organize and manage resources to deliver the required project output within a defined scope, quality, time and cost constraints
  12. SALES & CATEGORY MANAGEMENT - Understand the flow of goods from manufacturer to consumer in order to identify gaps and opportunities where programs can be implemented. You will integrate customer insights and partner with sales to identify opportunities and build strategies that grow brands.
  13. PRINCIPAL MANAGEMENT - Work with principals in creating and executing annual business plans and provides information needed.
  14. PEOPLE MANAGEMENT - Attract, develop and retaining talents within team, coach and mentor subordinates to manage their performance and for future increased responsibilities; provide development and career planning for each team member
  15. COMMUNICATION - Speak clearly and concisely, listen attentively to concerns expressed by others; encourages others to express their views, even contrary ones. Ability to provide compelling reasons for ideas to gain support of others.

JOB QUALIFICATION

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION

  • Must be a Product/Brand Manager for at least a year OR must be Associate Product/Brand Manager for at least 3 years
  • At least 4 years experience in brand management and consumer marketing
  • Experience working in Brand Strategy and Execution, Integrated Marketing Communication, Financial Management, Business Analysis, New Product Development
  • Exceptional organizational and planning skills with ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Has strong communication, analytical and problem solving skills
  • With high sense of urgency
  • With strong commercial and entrepreneurial outlook
  • Willing to report in Pasay
