JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Coordinates with Section Head/Technical Team Lead for task assignments, support and other media development-related instructions and content management.
  • Provides user support and may suggest systems and process improvements.
  • Occasionally, takes the initiative in ensuring movement of the phases of the projects assigned to him.

Responsibilities

  • Understand and comply with the defined and agreed Software Development Life Cycle and CMMI standards of the organization.
  • Creates and leverages multimedia assets (images, audio, video, etc) to support and illustrate content for learning as well as marketing projects with the use of appropriate authoring tools and design packages such as Photoshop, Adobe Premier Pro, In Design, After Effects, etc.
  • Knowledgeable in different CMS platforms including (but not limited to) Drupal, WordPress or Coremedia to adopt digital strategies/approaches for business, products, and marketing 
  • Evaluates request for a new or modified program to determine feasibility, the time required, compatibility, and dependency with the current system(s).
  • Consults with Technical/Team Leader to clarify project/initiative objectives.
  • Formulates plan outlining steps required for content management, using
    structured analysis and design, and submits plans to Section Head/ Technical Team Leads for approval.
  • Performs unit testing on different Content Management Systems
  • Writes documentations related to project/initiatives:
    • Initiation document stating clear project objectives
    • Estimation of efforts
    • Document to describe interactive content development and corrections
    • Status updating
    • Unit testing
    • User Documentation
    • Project Closure
  • Recreates or simulates steps taken by user to locate source of problem and rewrites program to correct errors.
  • Provide resolutions on the concerns related to the project.
  • Assists in the knowledge transfer during project turn-over.
  • Manages customer relationship and maintains high quality service ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Assists in the knowledge transfer during project turn-over.
  • Maintains and updates daily monitoring of service deliverables;
  • Prepares and submits of needed reports;
  • Follow guidelines on file naming, handling, storage and archiving.
  • Ensure continuity of providing service by flexibly adjusting to help other team members.
  • Expand knowledge on business process and IT related information;
  • Stay abreast of current technology, systems information, problems, changes and updates relevant to the team;
  • Shall not disclose any confidential information in respect to the affairs of the Company to any unauthorized person;
  •  Performance of other tasks as maybe assigned

JOB QUALIFICATION

  • Bachelor’s or College degree in Multimedia Arts, Computer Science, Information Technology, and/or a related field is preferred but not necessary.
  • Has at least two (2) years of experience in scripting, design, and analysis.
  • Knowledge in different authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline or Captivate.
  • Knowledge in using Creative Cloud (Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, After effects)
  • Ability to analyze user requirements and specifications and translate into interactive content.
  • Ability to handle support in the context of current user specification.
  • Ability to prepare detailed written instructions and documentation.
  • Knows how to communicate with difficult/problematic user
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to deal effectively in a team environment.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organized and able to set priorities;
  • Has customer service orientation;
  • Keen eye for art and design (Artistic).
  • To provide and deliver solutions within the defined timeline across regions, may need to go on different shifts or extended working hours.
  • Some days may be heavy while others may be light. Longer hours may be required when a need arises.
