JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities include overseeing operations, inspecting food quality and display case presentation, supervise product selection, managing food safety practices, ensure quality customer service by performing staff training and engaging with customers while ordering or with their inquiries, in charge with inventory and sourcing out of suppliers/consignors. Will be located in Makati or Quezon City.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage daily activities of staff to improve sales performance
  • Analyze profit and loss statements and recommends improvements to meet store sales goals.
  • Develop sales promotion programs to attract more customers.
  • Supervise staff in various duties such as cooking, serving, packaging and operating counters.
  • Manage product storage, maintenance and rotation activities to avoid any damages or spoilages.
  • Ensure that products are properly labelled with prices and dates.
  • Assist in preparation of inventory and sales budget
  • Monitor and maintain stock inventory levels to avoid over and under stock problems.
  • Interact politely with clients while solving problems related to sales, dissatisfied service and issues regarding deli operations.
  • Develop and implement new customer service to be competitive with other brands and to be able to cope  up with a fast-paced demanding environment.
  • Respond to special orders and requests on a timely manner.
  • Will work with vendors to bring in new products or to promote products that were already in the store.
  • Will supervise selection, pricing, preparation and promotion of designated products.
  • Operate all food preparation machines equipment
  • Ensure that the facility will maintain and enforce food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Assist in interviewing, hiring and training staff.
  • Provide training to staff on company policies and store rules.

JOB QUALIFICATION

  • At least 2 to 3 years of Deli or Bakery management experience (vendor management experience is a strong plus).
  • Proficiency with POS systems and standard office software for accounting and inventory purposes.
  • Specialized in merchandising, advertising and suggestive selling of Specialty and Deli products.
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting and selling of products. This includes marketing strategies, sales techniques and sales control system.
  • Can consider relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one.
  • Can use reasoning and logic to identify the strength and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
  • Can understand and write sentences and paragraphs correctly in work related documents.
  • Can talk to others confidently to convey information effectively.
  • Can motivate, develop and direct people as they work, can identify best people for the job.
  • Ability to manage confidential information in a professional and responsible manner.
  • Demonstrate objectivity, neutrality and calmness under pressure.
