JOB DESCRIPTION
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Deliver container vans from pier to the different warehouses of clients by driving 6 or 10 wheeler tractor heads.
- Ensure that cargo is delivered timely and safely
- Routinely check and maintain assigned tractor head by assessing the following:
- Cleanliness of truck (internal and external)
- Battery
- Tires
- Water Level
- Oil Level
- Inform head mechanic and dispatcher of possible repairs before it occurs.
- Perform initial repairs to truck if and when breaks down occur.
- Fill out incident report whenever an accident occurs or repair is requested.
- Report status of delivery
- If driving, duty will be passed on to helper.
JOB QUALIFICATION
Qualifications:
- Male
- Candidate must possess at least high school diploma
- At least had 2 years of relevant work experience
- Has valid driver's license with restriction code 1, 2, 3 and 8
- With good moral character
