JOB DESCRIPTION

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITY: 

Responsible for the daily management of the Human Resources Department assisting with the implementation and administration of recruitment, compensation, benefits, employee relations and training  policies, practices and procedures.

MAIN DUTIES:

 ­

  1. Participate in the development and implementation of Human Resource policies for the Hotel.
  2. Assist HR head and make recommendations regarding Human Resource issues including staffing levels.
  3. Collate staff turnover and sick leave statistics.
  4. Manage the recruitment systems within the hotel, paying particular attention to advertising, screening, work permits, reference checks and administration of all new hires.
  5. Assist with the annual Employee Satisfaction Survey.
  6. Ensure the effective administration of personnel records and files
  7. Administer employee recognition programs.
  8. Assist other department heads to improve their own Human Resources Management practices within their area.
  9. Liaise with Department Heads on the development of up to date Job Descriptions.
  10. Ensure development and performance reviews are conducted regularly, identifying key personnel for further development and structured career pathing.
  11. Plan and conduct new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward Hotel’s objectives

 

 

JOB QUALIFICATION

 

  1. Graduate of any 4 year course
  2. Experience is a must
  3. Exposure in conducting trainings and seminar a plus factor.
  4. Willing to learn and be trained
