Job description
Responsibilities:
- Analyzes program objectives and submitted requirements.
- Translates the specifications into the most cost-effective codes of the prescribed language.
- Prepares test data for all conditions together with the expected test results, reviews and conducts unit test of program assigned to him.
- Assist in the crafting of program specifications.
- Performs system test and documents test results.
- Designs input/output file layouts, report formats and screen layouts based on approved business requirements.
- Assists in the resolution of problems and complaints brought up by user units
JOB QUALIFICATION
Qualifications:
- Atleast 5 - 7 years experience in software development.
- Experience in Java, good grasp of OOP concepts, knowledge in design patterns is a plus.
- Experience in API authoring and consumption
- Experience in setup and configuration of Apache products, Tomcat and httpd. Knowldege in Kafka is a plus.
- Experience in version control tools (setup and usage)
- Database development using MSSQL (Stored procedures, Triggers, Indexes) and Oracle
- Experience using SQL and scripting languages
