Job description

The IT Staff is responsible in providing technical support and ensuring the whole company runs smoothly. IT Staff monitors and maintains the company computer systems, installs and configures hardware and software, and solves technical problems.

 

Responsibilities

 

 

  • Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners
  • Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
  • Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests
  • Providing technical support across the company (this may be in person or over the phone)
  • Setting up accounts for new users
  • Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary
  • Testing new technology
  • Troubleshooting technical issues.
  • Diagnosing and repairing faults.
  • Resolving network issues.
  • Speaking to customers to quickly get to the root of their problem.
  • Talking customers through a series of actions to resolve a problem.
  • Following up with clients to ensure the problem is resolved.
  • Replacing or repairing the necessary parts.
  • Supporting the roll-out of new applications
  • Providing support in the form of procedural documentation.
  • Managing multiple cases at one time.
  • Testing and evaluating new technologies.
  • Conducting electrical safety checks on equipment.

 

JOB QUALIFICATION

20 years old and above

-Good technical skills
-Must be knowledgeable in using microsoft tools (MS Word, Ms Excel, MS Powerpoint, Ms Outlook)
-Can build and install hardware and software
-Can identify troubleshoot hardware and software issues
-Can start asap
-must be graduate of Information Technology, computer science or any technical course
-Knowledgable in website making/word press
