JOB DESCRIPTION

ROLE SUMMARY

The Bookkeeper will perform various accounting-related responsibilities for our client, which include payroll, benefits administration, insurance, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

SCHEDULE: 9 AM – 6 PM Pacific Standard Time, Follows Philippine Holidays

POSITION TYPE: Full Time

WORK ARRANGEMENT: Remote

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

·       Process payroll twice a month

·       Review time sheets and follow up on missing entries

·       Calculate time off taken (vacation, sick time, unpaid time off, floating holiday, etc.), overtime, and expense reimbursements

·       Input payroll JE in QuickBooks

·       Handle payroll reports generation and filing

·       Manage employee deduction changes

·       Handle the onboarding and offboarding of employees’ payroll, benefits, and other admin matters

·       Handle 401k processing

·       Process bi-monthly remittance

·       Manage compliance and reporting requirements (non-discrimination testing, safe harbor/employee share calculation, etc.)

·       Conduct employee verification

·       Process benefits open enrollment

·       Handle general insurance renewals and compliance

·       Handle QuickBooks invoice and payments input for accounts payable

·       Process credit card charges

·       Handle commission reports and calculation

·       Assist in monthly client billing

·       Prepare monthly AR aging reports

·       Generate reports as needed/requested

·       Perform ad-hoc tasks and projects

 

JOB QUALIFICATION

QUALIFICATIONS

·       A Bachelor’s degree in the related field

·       Experience in a multi-client environment

·       Strong computer aptitude, which includes expertise with Microsoft 365 and accounting applications (such as QuickBooks)

·       Analytical skills with particular attention to detail

·       Aptitude in data management, analytics, reporting preparation

·       Must know how to keep confidentiality

·       Reliable and has strong communication skills

·       On time with deliverables and is a self-starter/resourceful
