Sales Manager
Responsible for proactively identifying, winning, and growing new business across a variety of market segments across Australian cities including Brisbane, Melbourne & Adelaide. You will report to National Sales Manager based in Australia to drive the Corporate Sales function to maximize the brand’s corporate Sales Accounts.
Responsibilities –
Manage strategic new business development in Australian source markets across Corporate Accounts to grow New Business Accounts for the company for its properties in Australia.
Review demand sources established by the company and assist in creating new demand sources with a focus to proactively drive new business. Manage data and lead generation for the allocated portfolio of properties or source markets.
Account Management and servicing of allocated accounts for maximizing productivity.
Negotiation of rates, terms, and conditions for the corporate accounts
Visit procurement offices of the key corporate accounts to solicit business
Conduct presentations to travel agents, call centres, and bookers of accommodation virtual as well as in-person.
Attend outside sales calls, tradeshows, and meetings in pursuance of the above as required.
Work with the relevant department(s) to ensure simple clear systems are in place to successfully implement new contracted business.
Willing to travel to Australia for Sales Meeting or trade shows as required.
Requirements -
1. Bachelor’s degree in Hotel, Tourism or Hospitality equivalent qualification.
2. Minimum 5 years experience in a Corporate Sales capacity with min 2 years or servicing international accounts, with a proven track record of success.
3. Understanding of the Australian Hospitality & Tourism sector is preferred but not mandatory
4. Experience in developing a sales campaign, sales strategy, and sales plan.
6. Proactive approach to conversion, developing and maintaining strong relations with clients and stakeholders.
7. Ability to keep abreast of changes and assesses trends in market conditions, competitor feedback, and consumer buying behavior to create strategies that drive conversion opportunities.
8. Dynamic, vibrant, confident, and professional personality.
9. Entrepreneurial mindset and approach for creating opportunities.
11. Strong analytical and project management skills.
12. Experience in CRM HubSpot is preferred but not mandatory
