JOB DESCRIPTION

Operations Manager’s duty is to plan, direct and coordinate the operations of the organization such as production, installation, distribution, after sales feedback, purchasing, warehousing and PPIC. He/ She is responsible for ensuring and improving the performance, productivity, efficiency and profitability of departmental and organizational operations through the provision of effective methods and strategies. He/ she is directly reported to the General Manager and/or President.

 

I.  Duties and Responsibilities

  • Plans effective strategies to ensure the profit and financial well-being of the Works closely to other departments for long-term as well as the short- term goals of the organization (MANCOM).
  • Maintains discipline in the working area and setting the rules and regulations for the employees to maximize their output. Take special efforts to solve the grievances of the employees by understanding their problems through proper
  • Improve processes and policies in support of organizational goals. Formulate, revise and implement departmental and organizational policies and procedures to maximize output and efficiency. Monitor adherence to rules, regulations and
  • Review and sign of documents such as Purchase Requisition, Delivery Receipt, Acknowledgement Receipt, Gatepass, Receiving Report (local purchase), Petty Cash Request, Personnel Requisition Form and other operations related
  • Computes costing which involves mobilization charges for out of town deliveries and hauling cost upon request coming from Sales Department.
  • Prepares consolidated operations report (KPI) to be submitted to General Manager/ President on a weekly basis such as Inventory status, Production Accomplishment, Delivery and Installation Report, and others.
  • Review the daily delivery schedule and ensure to follow proper routing (proximity, number of clients per trip), allocation of required manpower per team per scope of Additional manpower should have prior request and approval.
  • Employee safety is another vital responsibility of the Operations
  • Attends external clients’ concern both on site or through telephone conversation for critical issues/ complaints that cannot answered by the
  • Calls for a regular Operations Meeting/ Review to all concerned Departments and Sections to discuss all pending works and its status and commitment, address and prepares action plans based on the availability of the resources and
  • Conducts On the Spot Site Audit to determine the efficiency and productivity of field personnel as well as the quality of their work.
  • Ensures that the equipment and/or machines used have the ability to produce panels, joinery, worktops and other related finished goods for the client at an acceptable Standard, Lead time and Quality.

 

II.  Other Duties:

  • Appraise and evaluates the performance of his/her subordinates through Appraisal and recommends possible trainings, counseling, or monetary value based on the outcome.
  • Determine staffing requirements, and interview, hire and train new employees, or oversee those personnel processes

II.    Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Graduate of any Engineering courses
  • 3-5 years of experience as Manager in Manufacturing set-up particularly in Office Furniture/ Project Management/ Installation

Has the ability to analyze, interpret floor plans/ lay-out
