JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Maintain financial records up to date.
  • Prepare and send credit memos, purchase orders and invoices.
  • Process company sales invoices, receipt and payment from customers to suppliers.
  • Maintain and monitor account payables.
  • Able to follow up on outstanding balances as and when required.
  • Monitor and maintaining financial records of an employer's incoming and outgoing finances.
  • Ability to handle multiple insurance claims.
  • Create and update expense reports.
  • Prepare various bank deposits.
  • Prepare profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
  • Enter financial transactions into internal databases.
  • Check excel sheets for precision and errors.
  • Issue bills to customers and external partners, as needed.
  • Evaluate, organize and file payroll documents.
  • Carry out administrative duties such as filing, recording minutes at meetings, etc.
  • Assist account manager with audit, forecasts and other financial information and planning.
  • Interact with customers by phone calls or emails.
  • Report debtors and creditors.
  • Manage the day to day budgeting tasks.
  • Manage company ledgers.
  • Resolve errors in financial reports and correcting faulty reporting.

JOB QUALIFICATION

BS Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a relevant field.
At least 1-year experience as an Accounting Assistant.
Experience in Balance sheet preparation and payroll.
Must have an understanding of various types of related software such as Quickbooks
Strong knowledge of basic bookkeeping.
Good understanding of budgeting principles.
Strong data entry and word processing skills.
Good arithmetic skills and the ability to spot numerical errors.
Outstanding time management, verbal, and written communication skills.
Ability to multitask efficiently.
Ability to handle sensitive and private information.
Attention to detail.
Must be able to work individually on assigned duties

Unizone Logistics Services Inc. has been established to operate a general transportation business by land and presently ventured to Warehousing and Distribution.

Our present fleet includes: 5 units of AUV, 6 units of 4 wheeler Truck, 4 units of 6 wheeler Truck & 2 unit of Forward Trucks.

 

    Our Company has a vast industry experience, strong fleet operations and solidness of commitment to our clients. It has roots in providing logistics since 1990 with EMB Trucking Services and Greenland Express Transport Services in 2011.

 

    EMB Trucking Services were owned by Spouses Mr. and Mrs. Edwin M. Bermudez and pioneered with RFM Inc., Brent School International, Nestle Philippines and La Tondena Inc.

 

    In 2011, Greenland Express Transport Services was established as a joint venture project of Ms. Jeannette A. Bermudez and Mrs. Jacqueline Cunanan. It was envisioned to cater its professional logistics solutions to institutions in the delivery and distribution of products. It was operating a fleet of 7 units and had been granted the franchise to operate up to the Visayas region.

 

    Recently, the family decided to expand the business by forming the corporation and acquiring the full operations of Greenland Express Transport Services.

 

    It is now operating a fleet of 16 units and is servicing the trucking requirements of Fastcargo Logistics Corporation, Li & Fung Corporation, Synnovate Logistics Corporation, Royal Cargo Inc., DB Schenker Philippines & presently, Pepsi-Cola Products Philippines.
