JOB DESCRIPTION

JOB QUALIFICATION

 

SCHEDULE: 8 AM – 5 PM Mountain Standard Time, follows Philippine Holidays

POSITION TYPE: Full Time

WORK ARRANGEMENT: Remote

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

·       Ensure timely and accurate maintenance of financial records of the company in accordance with GAAP

·       Assist in month-end, quarter-end, and annual financial close processes

·       Participate in monthly account reconciliations, and reconciliation research and identify needs for journal entries for accuracy

·       Manage and streamline AR and AP processes, including bill processing, client invoicing, and collections

·       Support the preparation of financial statements and related schedules

·       Provide annual internal audit support as needed

·       Manage federal and state-level payroll tax accounting

·       File quarterly payroll taxes in multiple states and process tax payments

·       Communicate with federal, state, and local tax departments on occasion as needed

·       Respond to clients’ inquiries and provide ad-hoc reports as necessary

·       Produce analyses to support business functions and assist leadership in decision making

·       Document business processes to maintain and strengthen internal controls

·       Ensure reporting responsibilities are timely and accurately

QUALIFICATIONS

·       Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance

·       Demonstrated experience working with current accounting platforms (Sage Intacct a plus)

·       Masters level experience in Microsoft Excel with the ability to analyze and interpret financial data

·       3+ years of experience in accounting-related fields including posting journal entries, account analysis, and reconciliation

·       2+ years of experience managing quarterly and year-end payroll tax reporting

·       Highly detail-oriented

·       Ability to communicate with people at all levels

·       Demonstrated ability to work independently or with a team

·       Ability to meet deadlines, stay focused and manage time effectively

·       Experience in a multi-client environment

·       Strong organization, oral and written communication skills

·       Aptitude in data management, analytics, reporting preparation

·       Ability to function in an autonomous environment—independent worker, self-directed
