ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT - ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLES

JOB DESCRIPTION

DAILY ACTIVITIES:

* Check for accuracy and completeness of documents for Delivery items such as Stock Withdrawal Slip, Delivery Receipt, Sales Invoice, Collection Receipt (Payment vs. System).

* Post Delivery Receipt and Sales Invoice in the system.

* Responsible for Collection of Payment and CWT (if any) and issuance of Receipt.

* Check and Validate documents for shipped items - Receiving Report / Transfer Slip.

* Ensure all confirmed/received documents are posted in the subsidiary ledger envelope same goes into the system. 

* Application of payment received from customers in the system and submits for checking and safekeeping of checks and PDC.

* Accommodate internal clients and cater to all inquiries with regard to AR/SALES.

* Ensure correct dispatching of items prepared by the warehouseman. 

* Promptly call all clients that had overdue accounts.

 

WEEKLY ACTIVITIES:

* Prepare Weekly Sales Reports for Marketing.

* Prepare and Submit the following reports: Monthly Sales Report / Sales Commission Report / Accounts Receivable Aging / Monthly Summary of Sales Invoice / Monthly Summary of Collection Receipt / PMR Commission / FER / Meal Summary, to be included in Payroll.

 

MONTHLY ACTIVITIES:

* Prepare a Statement of Account (SOA) every month and send to clients with a confirmation and make follow-up after 45 days.

* Submit and monitor the summary of long outstanding and hard to collect accounts and endorse this to management for disposition and possible write off or endorsement to the Legal Department. 

* Maintain Schedule of Certificate of Withholding Tax 2307 & 2305 from clients and ensure hardcopies were collected during monthly and quarterly payments.

* Ensure that all accounts receivables are being collected and will not age more than 120 days and after their approved credit terms.

* Monitor and Update Guaranteed Accounts from the client with accounts receivable.

* Provide recommendations for improvement in the system and process procedures.

* Compliance and Procedures, guidelines, policies and perform other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.

* Responsible for intercompany tasks.

* Assist Ad Hoc tasks.

 

 

 

JOB QUALIFICATION

QUALIFICATIONS:

* Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or Business Administration.

* At least 1-2 years of working experience in a similar role.

* Experience with any Accounting Software is a plus.

* Proficiency in computers and knowledge of MS Excel and other MS Office programs.

* Excellent written and verbal communication, research, problem-solving, and time management skills.

* High level of accuracy, efficiency, and accountability.

* Keen attention to detail.

* Ability to build relationships with clients And internal departments.

* Open to new ideas and learning.
