ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT - GENERAL LEDGER
JOB DESCRIPTION
* Responsible for consolidating and checking the supporting documents, and reports of the company's transactions.
* Preparation of journal entries.
* Reconciling invoices and identifying discrepancies.
* Update and maintain financial ledgers.
* Preparation of BIR Returns, Draft Form, and Supporting Schedule.
* Prepare and update monthly working Trial Balance Schedules.
* Participation in monthly, quarterly, and annual audits.
* Maintaining and improving the organization's bookkeeping process.
* Performing basic office tasks like filing, data entry, and mail processing.
JOB QUALIFICATION
* Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration, or any related field.
* Proven experience working as an Accounting Assistant.
* Knowledgeable in Accounting principles and practices.
* Has the ability to process large amounts of numerical data.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Accounting software.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Effective written and verbal communication skills, time management, interpersonal skills and good working attitude.
* Detail-oriented and with a good sense of time and urgency.
