JOB DESCRIPTION

* Proven experience working as an Accounting Manager.

* Assist staff members in the preparation of monthly and quarterly accounting reports.

* Analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with generally accepted accounting practices.

* Identify potential cash flow problems and financial irregularities.

* Liaise with department heads to ensure that each department remains within budget. 

* Accurately prepare tax returns and ensure that company taxes are paid in a timely manner.

* Perform reconciliations of general ledger accounts.

* Manage, supervise and provide overall guidance to account clerks as well as junior accounting staff.

* Provide regular updates to management regarding company finances.

* Ensure that the company maintains compliance with accounting regulations.

 

JOB QUALIFICATION

* Candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy.

* Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is a plus.

* Proven experience working as an Accounting Manager and experience in General Accounting, Financial Accounting, and Tax Compliance.

* Sound knowledge of Accounting principles and practices.

* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

* Strong management and leadership skills.

* Effective written and verbal communication skills, time management, interpersonal skills and good working attitude.

* Detail-oriented.
