The Retirement Plan Administrator focuses on the full process of what it takes to administer, test, and report on 401(k) plans. Through accelerated learning, in-depth training, and practical experience, the Retirement Plan Administrator will quickly grow from document review to administering all 401(k) plan complexities. You’ll work directly with clients to educate them on the administration of their plans. This position requires immaculate attention to detail and experience performing annual 401(k) plan testing, calculating employee eligibility, and reconciliation of plan assets.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
· Work with clients to obtain the necessary information to prepare the annual reporting
· Make outgoing calls and send emails to clients during the play year reporting process
· Review documents submitted by clients for completeness and accuracy
· Navigate large volume of work with autonomy while also collaborating within your team and department to ensure the excellent client experience
· Perform different types of testing, including but not limited to nondiscrimination, coverage, and top-heavy testing
· Understand how to recognize and simply explain testing failures to clients then work with them to limit future risk
· Calculate allocations, distributions, and matching contributions for 401(k) plans
· Prepare required government filings, including the annual IRS Form 5500
· Educate clients about the administration of their 401(k) plan
· Exceed defined role expectations
QUALIFICATIONS
· Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a related field (business, finance, etc.) preferred
· Basic knowledge of 401(K) plan structure, ROBS, and IRS/DOL regulations a plus
· Must have reconciliation experience of some kind
· Meticulous attention to details
· Excellent verbal and written communications skills
· Skills in customer service, organization, and collaboration
· Experience in a multi-client environment
· Strong computer aptitude, which includes expertise with Microsoft 365 applications
· Possesses a positive attitude that is heavy on motivation
· Has a proactive approach to problem-solving
· Demonstrates adequate math and analytical skills
· Able to work independently, multi-task, and establish own priorities based on workload and client need
