Mainly support the Head of Construction and Planning Engineer to ensure timeliness in project delivery with adherence to the allotted budget.

Responsibilities

A. Project Awarding

• Determine capacity of each contractor to ensure that all awarded projects will be completed on time.
• Responsible for assigning/awarding of projects which includes price negotiation, contract preparation and processing.

B. Construction Tracking

• Monitor construction progress and ensure timeliness.
• Coordinate to contractors with delay and approve plans to cope up.
• Recommend take over for delayed construction.
• Act as presiding officer during contractors meeting.
• Process payment as per contractor milestone.

C. Appraisal and Turnover

• In coordination with the accounts management team, ensure that scheduled appraisal of any financial institution will be successful.
• Review result of appraised value and recommend adjustments to HOC.
• Point person in the department for client punchlist schedule.
• Reply to client concerns pertaining to construction.
• Recommend, approve back jobs if necessary.

D. Others

• Point person regarding contractor concern.
• Provide assistance to team members in the department if needed.
• Other tasks may be assigned by the management from time to time.
