• Technical Evaluate the received RFQ from Sales by analyzing process designs, process and instrumentation diagrams and general arrangement, applying costing in order to position the company in the early stages of project development to increase probability of success.
• Evaluate the requirement if it is aligned in each Application Engineer’s Expertise (I.e. Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechanical and General Inquiries)
• Provides technical support to inquiries of Sales about the prices, technical data sheets and drawings based on the required products and specification of the Client from Local and Foreign Principal / Supplier
• For Motorized Valve, determine the parameters needed if complete then Size the actuator for approval of the Vice President (Engineering Department)
• Inquire the required items based on the evaluation to Principal and outsource if this is not under the products of ICON
• Evaluate the technical specifications of the quotation provided by the Principal or Supplier if it is complying to the Client’s requirements appearing on the Purchase Requisition
• Tabulate the needed documents (i.e. Quotation, freight cost and data sheet) for bid computation reference of Sales
• Prepare the product quotation after receiving the Sales approved Bid Computation from the President or Operations Manager and Compile the Quotation, Technical data sheets and submit to Sales for final approval
• Support and Assist to the Sales with regards to the technical queries raised by the Buyers and End-users and Request for discount and other data to the Supplier upon request of Sales
• Conduct a Technical Inspection on the delivered products at ICON Warehouse and prepare the necessary actions for the incorrect specification found during the Inspection
• Accomplished Quotation monitoring for faster tracking of requirements of Sales
• Continuous Tabulation of Suppliers for Electrical and Electronics for future references
• Continuous tabulation of the Quotation of Rotork and Limitorque for future quotation reference on the urgent requirements
• Maintain expert level of product knowledge and application by attending of trainings provided by the Principal and Company

EDUCATIONAL ATTAINMENT:

Must be a Degree holder in Mechanical Engineering

SKILLS / COMPENTENCIES:

• At least three (3) years or more experience
• Experience in power plant is an advantage
• A plus if there is field experience on installation and commissioning of instuments
• Knowledgeable in CAD is an advantage
