Control Union Philippines, Inc. is currently looking for an Accountant to lead the overall operations of the finance department.

Duties and Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee overall finance operations and supervise Accounts Payables and Receivables.
• Accurately prepare periodic financial statements and corporate bi-monthly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles or BIR regulations.
• Lead internal, external, and BIR tax audits.
• Preparation of annual budget reporting to management and the Asia finance team.
• Processing of Payroll and Tax Annualization.
• Update and maintain accounting policies and procedures.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by MD.

Expected Educational & Professional Background:

• Bachelor's/College Degree in Finance/Accountancy.
• CPA is a plus but not required.
• Must have five (5) years of total work experience in BIR audits, financial audits, and financial reporting is required.
• Must be knowledgeable in budget principles, tax policies, and other BIR regulations relevant to compliance and audit reporting.
• Must have strong leadership skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Must have good critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel specifically in formulas.
