The Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of their company’s environmental, health, and safety policies. They commonly work with a team of professionals to ensure that these policies are implemented correctly and consistently across the organization.
Develop health and safety policies. These policies must be designed to protect employees from injuries and illnesses. The HSE Manager must also ensure that these policies are being followed by all employees.
Develop environmental management plans that meet all regulatory requirements. He/she must monitor compliance with environmental regulations and make sure that all employees are properly trained on these regulations.
1. Establish a culture that is aligned with FMIC’s HSE goals and objectives, with continuous HSE improvements
2. Manage, direct, coach, lead, and motivate Safety Officers to achieve HSE goals and objectives in a timely and safe manner, while continuously striving to improve safety skills & awareness
3. Assist in planning, directing, and coordinating HSE compliance activities through functional teams, and with the direction of VP of Human Resources.
4. Assist in the development and implementation of Environmental, Health and Safety programs and activities for the facility to achieve, maintain and exceed compliance with relevant regulatory laws and regulations as well as comply with policies, standards and procedures.
5. Responsible for directing incident investigations identifying root causes of HSE Incidents and executing sustainable corrective actions.
6. Identify and develop good working relationships with national and local agencies (i.e., DENR, safety agencies, fire departments, etc.).
7. Develop, coordinate and/or conduct HSE training programs
8. Responsible for driving processes that will result in a reduction of accidents and injuries and the identification of potential hazards present in the workplace.
9. Advice, develop, and facilitate mandatory safety training to new employees.
Any other task that may be assigned from time-to-time.
1. At least 5 years relevant experience.
2. Preferably Industrial Engineering graduate.
3. Experience in ISO 14001: 2015 and ISO 45001:2018 is a definite advantage.
4. Qualified Pollution Control Officer (PCO).
5. Experience in manufacturing and/or construction industry.
SALARY RANGE: P30,000.00
WORK LOCATIONS: Meycauayan, Bulacan (But will do site inspection on project locations)
WORK SCHEDULE: Mondays to Fridays (Saturdays if needed)
