COMPANY OVERVIEW

Salem is a premier Filipino furniture manufacturer that is best known for high-quality spring mattresses. We have been around for more than fifty years and have been catering to every segment of the market ever since. Our iconic tagline, ‘Hari ng Tibay’, and the Elephant of Comfort have gone down in local pop culture history.

Upholding our traditions, Salem continues to manufacture some of the finest mattresses and sofas in the market today. Our products are proudly Filipino-made and feature components that are traditional and locally sourced.

Salem Bed started out as a backyard business in 1968, with the founder Tiu Kim Chuan crafting mattresses right out of his home in La Loma, Quezon City. The products met the market’s demands and needs as they were initially sold in Binondo. Soon enough, Salem Bed was established and started to make a name for itself. Today, Salem operates seven manufacturing plants in different parts of the country with thousands of employees. Aside from our four (4) retail outlets, we also sell and supply our products to about five hundred (500) furniture stores and retailers nationwide.

We specialize in spring mattresses but also offer a wide range of other kinds of mattresses. We have also recently added sofas to our growing product line.

WHY JOIN US?

We offer a competitive salary package. Salem welcomes all applicants regardless of status and background.
