JOB DESCRIPTION

Collections Representative Responsibilities:

  • Handle inbound and outbound collection calls in a professional manner
  • Utilizes negotiation skills to resolve delinquency issues
  • Collect customer payments in accordance with payment due dates.
  • Identify issues attributing to account delinquency and discuss options with the customer
  • Provide timely follow-up on payment arrangements.
  • Maintain composure in escalated situations
  • Contact customers to determine intent to pay and ability to resolve the delinquency
  • Approach problems logically and with good judgment to ensure the appropriate customer outcome
  • Notate each account accurately with detailed and precise information to ensure proper follow through

 

JOB QUALIFICATION

Collections Representative Requirements:

  • 1 year of collections experience
  • Computer proficiency
  • Comfortable working with numbers
  • Articulate written and verbal communication skills
  • Qualified candidates will be comfortable in a multi-tasking, high-energy environment.
  • Comfortable negotiating and working with numbers
  • Flexible and reliable with the working schedule; may be expected to work weekends & holidays
