The Accountant will oversee the daily finance functions which preparation, research, and reporting related to, but not limited to, general ledger activities, month-end closing activities, reconciliation of accounts as directed, financial-related reports, project tracking, schedules, and audits by deadlines; expected to have an affinity for automation and to recommend actions for improving efficiencies and internal controls across all finance processes.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
· Manage Accounts Receivable function, which includes the following:
o Prepare and post invoices for multiple product lines
o Process cash receipts, including credit card payments, bank deposits/ACH
o Update customer contacts, billing schedules, and revenue recognition schedules
o Research and resolve payment discrepancies in a timely manner
· Manage Accounts Payable function, which includes entering bills and reconciling and recording expense reports to correct general ledger accounts
· Post all bank transactions daily and investigate transactions for which documentation was not received or there is an unknown material variance
· Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual general ledger account reconciliations for all accounts, including accruals, prepaid, fixed assets, and intangibles, to ensure accurate reporting and general ledger reliability
· Respond to customer, vendor, and employee inquiries in a professional and timely manner
· Conduct ad hoc reporting and reconciliation tasks as requested by management
QUALIFICATIONS
· A Bachelor’s degree in the related field
· US GAAP knowledge is required
· ConnectWise Manage knowledge is required
· Intermediate Excel skills, including VLOOKUP’s and Pivot tables
· Confident in working independently and using initiative to guide through challenges
· Team Player – able to assist members of the team with questions
· Experience in a multi-client environment
· Strong computer aptitude, which includes expertise with Microsoft 365 applications
· Strong organization, oral and written communication skills
· Analytical skills with particular attention to detail
· Aptitude in data management, analytics, reporting preparation
· Ability to function in an autonomous environment—independent worker, self-directed
