Primary Functions:

The job of an Account Associate is to build and maintain relationships with acquired MediLink accounts that include, but are not limited to, hospitals, clinics, doctors. Some of the daily tasks include responding to inquiries, addressing account-related concerns, and others.

Regular Tasks:

• Conduct complete and accurate training of providers (hospitals, clinic - end users of Medilink System) to ensure understanding of services contracted by Payors and Medilink Merchants (if required) - this includes actual visit to the accounts
• Complete and submit an Account Orientation report after the actual visit and other reports that the client may require, e.g., incident reports, payment details, minutes
• Ensure that concerns raised during provider orientation, monthly meeting and visits will be properly coordinated to the concerned internal/external department/employee
• Send advisories or letters designed for Service Providers for new Payor implementations and ensure that such documents are acknowledged and understood
• Regular collection of official documents and receipts from assigned accounts
• Closely liaise between all Account Associates
• Timely submission of all weekly reports
• Perform other duties as specified by senior officers and/or immediate superiors

Must-haves:

• Graduate of a 4-year degree course. Business and IT background an advantage.
• Can close deals during business negotiations.
• Confident in dealing with middle and top management
• With above average oral and written communication, interpersonal relations and sales negotiation skills.
• Must possess high level of professionalism, integrity and has pleasing personality
• Detail oriented
• People oriented, willing to travel and learn new ideas
• Persistent, flexible and a team player
• Can work under pressure and meet deadlines with minimum supervision
• Ability to develop and deliver presentations
