Storyboard Creation

Creatively and accurately translate scripts to storyboards.
Produce 2-4 outputs per week, depending on the guidelines and goals set by the Department Head
Supplying necessary references for the images, illustrations, and animations to ensure accuracy of the content.
Provide clear animation instructions in the storyboard to be followed by the video production and post-production team.
Follow guidelines and instructions set by the content, creatives team, and other stakeholders.

Coordination

Coordinate with academic officers, production, and post-production teams to ensure content accuracy, feasibility of complex animations or studio shoots while creating the storyboards.
Provide validation and feedback to the content development and video production teams.
Communicate with the immediate supervisor regarding task progress (weekly meeting)
Ensure that all tracking applications are updated - spreadsheets and Proofhub

Review and Approval

Review storyboards and approval of videos based on criteria set by the Content Development and Production Team.
Produce minimum of 8 outputs per week, depending on the guidelines and goals set by the Department Head

Others

Contribute to the creation and validation of storyboard prototypes, guidelines, and templates.
Other tasks which may be assigned from time to time

- Bachelor's degree in Broadcasting, Education, Visual Communication or equivalent.
- 1+ years of relevant instructional design and storyboarding portfolio or experience.
- A teaching background is an advantage.
- Excellent knowledge of learning theories and instructional design principles.
- Has working knowledge of visual design, video production and motion graphics. Knowing how to draw and animate is a plus but not required.
- Basic knowledge in Photoshop, Illustrator or other similar softwares.
- Able to understand academic concepts and translate them visually for the target audience to effectively learn and be engaged.
- Good planning, organization, communication and time-management skills.
- Open to feedback but also able to justify decisions when needed.
- Can work remotely with a team while also being able to work independently with minimal supervision.
