JOB DESCRIPTION
The NOC Technician is responsible for handling all Datto RMM-related tasks for the client. This includes managing escalations, remediating alerts, maintaining the servers, and applying firmware updates.
JOB QUALIFICATION
SCHEDULE: 11 AM - 8 PM Eastern Standard Time, follows Philippine Holidays
POSITION TYPE: Full Time
WORK ARRANGEMENT: Remote
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
· Monitor, assess, remediate, track, and coordinate the escalation of all Datto RMM alerts that generate during working hours, within SLAs
· Remediate alerts for connectivity, disk space issues, server event logs, and VMWare environments
· Handle the weekly patching of all Windows systems, and Datto RMM job scheduling and maintenance
· Handle firmware updates to servers and network devices
QUALIFICATIONS
· A Bachelor’s degree in the related field
· Familiar with the Datto RMM platform, VMWare environments, Windows Server 2012-Present, Windows 10 and 11 workstations, SonicWALL Firewalls, and network switches
· Experience in a multi-client environment
· Strong computer aptitude, which includes expertise with Microsoft 365 applications
· Strong organization, oral and written communication skills
· Analytical skills with particular attention to detail
· Aptitude in data management, analytics, reporting preparation
· Ability to function in an autonomous environment—independent worker, self-directed
