Procurement Associate
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Responsible for executing the procurement process for assigned materials, CAPEX/OPEX and services
- Performing research and communicating with vendors and suppliers to find the best goods and services for the company.
- Creating a database of invoices, purchase orders, quote requests, vendor or supplier contracts, and updating it as needed.
- Establishing and developing good working relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Reviewing all purchase-related documents for errors before it is sent to the accounting department.
- Tracking and maintaining the status of orders, and reporting any delivery issues to affected supervisors.
- Responding to emergency requests and expediting orders as needed.
- Creating monthly and annual purchase reports for management review.
- Ensures that all reports are accurate and submitted on time to the immediate line manager or to the other units in the organization, in order to assist/facilitate decision making.
- Ensuring all purchased goods and services are up to company standards and in compliance
JOB QUALIFICATION
- Candidate must possess a Bachelors/College degree
- Preferably 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employees specializing in Purchasing/Inventory/Material & Warehouse Management or
- equivalent..
- Negotiating Skills (determine the lowest cost for products/materials,
- contracts, review requisitions and purchase orders, etc.)
- Can work with minimum supervision
- Can work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge in Microsoft office
- 2 Full-Time position(s) available

Century Peak Cement Manufacturing Corporation – the official company name of the business that will handle the Cement Plant /Power Plant and Limestone Quarry Project was registered with the Security and Exchange Commission (SEC). In August of the same year, Construction of the Cement Plant commenced.
After a year, in January of 2019, the Construction of the CPCMC Private Port Facility was completed, and was able to secure a Permit to Operate from the Cebu Port Authority by May of the same year. The port was primarily utilized for the incoming shipment of sand and aggregates from Ormoc Leyte. These materials are used for the concrete requirements of the cement plant construction.
Presently, the construction of the cement plant was almost 100% completed and the start of commercial operations is targeted on October 2021.
