JOB DESCRIPTION
- Liase with superior to discuss day to day operational requirements and to review acheivements and improvements
- Ensure that all machines and equipments in restaurant are in working order and inform the malfuntioning to the concerned immeidately
- Check incoming supplies from stores fro quality, quantity, damages and spoilages
- Prepare the dining room for meal service, which include setting up and replenishing sugar, salt, pepper, condiments, breads, butter, water and beverages )hot & cold, and cold table/ counter or buffet and salad bar). the replenishment of the above items should continue during meal hours
- Check silveware, cups, glasses, dishes, ashtrays, napkins, placemats and other supplies at their designated locations
- Set tables to laid down standards; ensure that all items used are clean, undamaged and in a good working condition
- Receive information about the days menu from the superior. be familiar with the compostion of all meni items
- Serve food and beverages in accordance with laid down standard, but above all in a professional, corteous manner
- Clean tables and ensure they are cleaned as soon as it is apparent that customers have finished their food or drink with an acceptable balance between speed, yet allowing customers to finish their meal without feeling rushed.
JOB QUALIFICATION
- vocational or college graduate of HRM
- with working experience in restaurants
- with pleasing personality
- with good knowledge in conversing english
