JOB DESCRIPTION
- Performing triage on tickets as they come into the helpdesk system.
- Responding to support requests.
- Performing quality checks on websites being developed or managed.
- Making simple website changes such as uploading images, text, and files.
- Setting up new website support services (installing and configuring plugins).
- Performing website maintenance (e.g. upgrading software, deleting spam comments).
- Helping to identify improvement in the client's business and processes.
- Tracking all working time to the relevant project/service to stay under budget.
- Other ad hoc tasks as required by management.
JOB QUALIFICATION
- Very strong attention to detail (following processes precisely, completing tasks, tracking time, etc). This is number one on the list for a reason!
- Very strong organization and time management skills.
- Very strong written and verbal communication skills (i.e. using simple language to explain technical matters to clients).
- Strong front-end coding skills.
- Strong customer service acumen.
- 2+ years of experience working with WordPress websites (including various themes and plugins).
- 2+ years of experience working in customer service or helpdesk roles.
- A fundamental understanding of SEO, UX/UI, and website best practices.
- A fundamental understanding of website hosting, domain names, and DNS.
