JOB DESCRIPTION
The Personal Property Tax Specialist is responsible for managing the financial information and assisting with auditing, reporting, and documentation.
JOB QUALIFICATION
SCHEDULE: 8 AM - 5 PM Central Standard Time, follows Philippine Holidays
POSITION TYPE: Full Time
WORK ARRANGEMENT: Remote
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
· Gather information from clients such as balance sheets and financials
· Help determine what is taxable and what is not
· Go through and vet/audit all the information prior to submitting it
· Review values
· Assist with accepting values
· Help prepare appeals packets
· Review documents
· Upload information into the company's system
· Add notes to reports that the system creates
· Produce reports
QUALIFICATIONS
· A major in Accounting or Finance background in college would be helpful
· Computer-proficient and able to learn a new computer system
· Excellent written and verbal English communication skills are required; a neutral accent is a plus
· A desire to learn and grow, with the willingness to undergo extensive training
· Experience in a multi-client environment
· Strong computer aptitude, which includes expertise with Microsoft 365 applications
· Analytical skills with particular attention to detail
· Aptitude in data management, analytics, reporting preparation
Ability to function in an autonomous environment—independent worker, self-directed
