JOB DESCRIPTION

As the Sr. Systems Administrator, you are expected to provide end-user support on a variety of technical issues relating to information technology systems; maintain and support remote clients' networks by performing the duties as assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATION

SCHEDULE: 7 AM – 4 PM Pacific Standard Time, follows Philippine Holidays

POSITION TYPE: Full Time

WORK ARRANGEMENT: Remote

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

·       Provide technical support and guidance to end-users by identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems

·       Address technical issues identified by an internal Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) system

·       Respond to telephone calls, chat requests, emails, and general clients' requests for technical support both remote and on sites

·       Set up, configure, and support internal client networks and servers

·       Recommend upgrades, patches, and new software/ hardware equipment

·       Use internal Professional Service Automation (PSA) system to document, track, and monitor problems to ensure a timely resolution

·       Manage communication with various vendors regarding purchasing new software and hardware equipment

·       Execute scheduled quarterly network administration level processes and tasks on clients' sites

·       Develop and maintain excellent client relationships

·       Participate in internal and external training

·       Attend internal company and external client scheduled onsite and/or remote meetings

QUALIFICATIONS

·       A Bachelor's degree in a related field and a minimum of seven (7) years of related experience and training are a must

·       A Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) and/or CompTIA's Network+/A+ certifications are a plus

·       Previous experience in IT, customer service, or other related fields

·       Experienced with Cisco Meraki, SonicWall, or Fortinet firewalls

·       Experienced with Dell, HP/Aruba, and Cisco switches (IP Helper, vLANs, and MAC Auth)

·       Knowledgeable of Unifi, Meraki, or Ruckus wireless access points (setup, configuration, and troubleshooting)

·       Strong knowledge of Windows Server 2008-2019 (Active Directory, Domain Controller, File Server, DFS, DNS and DHCP services)

·       A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected

·       Ability to install, configure, manage, and troubleshoot Windows server operating systems

·       Strong knowledge of VMWare vSphere and vCenter systems and clusters

·       Knowledgeable of TCP, DNS, DHCP, SNMP, iPSEC, and SSL protocols

·       Strong knowledge of Active Directory user management, security policies, and group policies

·       Fluent with Azure AD/ Office 365 and Google apps cloud maintenance and management

·       Master in Windows 10/11 and Mac OS operating systems

·       Ability to build rapport with our clients

·       Strong and positive troubleshooting and critical thinking skills

·       Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, bulletins, and documents

·       Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers or members of the IT community

·       Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form

·       Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations

·       Experience in a multi-client environment

·       Strong computer aptitude, which includes expertise with Microsoft 365 applications

·       Strong organization, oral and written communication skills

·       Analytical skills with particular attention to detail
