Job Description

The position is responsible for the timely recording of transactions and preparation of accurate and timely financial reports to ensure that the company meets its reporting requirements to management , Board of Directors, and irther stakeholders, and complies with the financial reporting requirements of Government regulatory units.

Responsibilities:

- Post and process journal entries to all business transactions are recorded.

- Month-end closing of books

- Processing of balance sheets, income statements, and other financial statements accordong to legal, accounting and financial guidelines. 

- Preparation of staturoy reports e.g. tax payments, mandatory submissions to the BIR reports, PEZA, SSS, Philhealth, HDMF, and other applicable regulatory agencies.

- Preparation of monthly payroll

- Processing general accounting activities

- Prepare requirements for annual audit and ensure their timely  submission

- Ensure annual renewal of company registration and permits

- Work with external tax and accounting firm

- Safekeeping and filing of accounting documents

- Other related tasks as may be assigned from time to time

Qualifications:

-  2-3 years relevant experience in general accounting and taxation

-  1-2 years working experience with PEZA related activities

-  Bachelor's degree in Accountancy

-  Must be Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

-  Highly organized and detailed oriented

-  Independent and can work with minimal supervision

-  Proficient in Excel, Powerpoint, and Word

-  Preferably with work experience in ac computerized accounting system environment.
