JOB DESCRIPTION

Junior Voice Engineer will be part of the Support Team and the responsibilities includes but not
limited to:

  • Supporting several products – Voice, SMS, FoIP for a unified communications provider, handling Tier1 tickets and issues.
  • Initial interconnection with new Carriers.
  • Routing update on Soft Switch.
  • Monitoring and analyzing of day-to-day call traffic.
  • Handling incoming and outgoing trouble tickets and ensuring they are within SLAs.
  • Handling internal service requests from different Departments about products.
  • Coordinating with Account Managers to assist them on their account’s issues.
  • Joint testing thru msn/phone call with other company NOCs.
  • Carrier testing for new offered routes.
  • Other tasks assigned by Management/Client related to the position.

JOB QUALIFICATION

  • Degree/Diploma on Electronics Engineering, Computer/Telecommunication or other related course.
  • Practical or theoretical knowledge on VOIP and other related technologies.
  • A self –starter, having strong analytical skills with ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Can adapt to changing Technology easily.
  • Fluent in written and Spoken English.
  • Positive interpersonal skills, ability to work in teams or individually with a positive work attitude.
  • Fast learner and should have good decision making
  • Knowledge on Computer/Telecom hardware would be an advantage.
  • Fresh Graduates willing to take up this challenging position would be welcome.
  • Willing to work in Shifting Schedule and at Ortigas Center Pasig.
  • This position is on a temporarily work from home set-up.
