JOB DESCRIPTION
The Web Developer is responsible for the Shopify Plus development of the company’s 3 Direct-To-Consumer (DTC) websites, the company’s B2B wholesale site, the company’s internal and external corporate websites, and any additional websites that need to be built. This person will collaborate closely with the marketing, sales/operations, and IT team to ensure a best-in-class experience across the websites. With the DTC websites being a key growth objective for the company, this role requires a dynamic, highly motivated individual.
JOB QUALIFICATION
SCHEDULE: 2 PM – 11 PM Pacific Standard Time, follows Philippine Holidays
POSITION TYPE: Full Time
WORK ARRANGEMENT: Remote
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
· Design and develop new and existing Shopify stores using Shopify themes as the foundation
· Generate custom-tailored Shopify themes, and alter pre-existing templates
· Research, manage, track, and maintain the installation of 3rd-party add-on apps and Shopify scripts
· Write Shopify Plus scripts to implement eCommerce promotions
· Collaborate with marketing and design teams to produce seamless, robust, and innovative front-end user experiences
· Generate new ideas to help improve user experience, mobile experience, load times, usability, average order value, conversion rates, and lead captures
· Study the latest features of Shopify Plus and make recommendations when applicable
· Participate in all levels of the development lifecycle
· Support users through training, as well as provide one-on-one technical assistance
QUALIFICATIONS
· Proficiency with Shopify eCommerce platform with a minimum of 3+ years of experience with the platform
· Strong problem-solving skills with an investigative mentality and a capacity for strategic and associative thinking
· Ability to balance and prioritize multiple projects to meet goals, deliverables, and deadlines
· Excellent grasp of all Microsoft 365 applications
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Experience in a multi-client environment
· Aptitude in data management, analytics, and reporting preparation
· Ability to function in an autonomous environment—independent worker, self-directed
